Mothers' Express

Mothers' Express is CMC's store for breast pump rental and sales of breast pumps and breast pump accessories.  There are also boutique items for sale for the new additions to the families born at CMC.

 Curbside Concierge Desk

        Patients, visitors and employees at Centennial can call or visit our on-site concierge service to request errands rangting from lunch pick-up, coffee runs, car servicing, dry cleaning, flowers, personal shopping and anything else they do not have time for during the day.

        We are located off the northwest corner of SH121 and Coit.  Also find a site map so you can find your way around our campus.

Gift Shop

The Centennial Gift Shop is located on the first floor and is open Monday-Thursday from 10am-5pm, and Friday from 10am - 6pm.  The Gift Shop has a variety of cut flower arrangements, green plants, balloons, snacks, toiletry items, baby gifts, cards, magazines, books and more.

Automated Teller Machine

An ATM is available 24 hours a day on the first floor in the Emergency Department Waiting Area. 

Chapel

The Chapel is located on the first floor near the main entrance.  It is open for use 7-days a week, 24-hours a day.  We also offer 24/7 on-call chaplain service.  Ask a nurse for more information.

 

Internet Access

Free Wi-Fi access is available for our guests to wirelessly connect to the Internet.  For security reasons, users will need to configure a manual wireless session with settings supplied by your nurse or unit secretary.

Flowers, Mail & Deliveries

Mail and flowers addressed to you will be delivered to your patient unit and then delievered to you by your nurse.  Flower arrangements are not allowed in the ICU.  Patients may receive flowers after transferring to a general nursing unit.  Mail received after you have been discharged will be forwarded to your home address.  Any flowers delivered after your discharge are sent back to the florist and the sender informed by them.

Food & Beverage

Spice Cafe, the hospital's cafe, offers a wide variety of hot and cold meals to both employees and visitors.  The cafeteria is located on the basement level and is open to the public during the following times:

Monday - Thursday    6:30am - 1:30pm; 5 - 7pm

Friday                            6:30am - 1:30pm

Saturday - Sunday      11am - 1:30pm

The Starbucks kiosk, located in the calfe on the basement level, offers beverages, snacks, and light foods.  The kiosk is open to the public during the following times:

            Monday - Friday            6:30am - 1:30pm

Vending machines are available 24-hours a day and are located on the basement level near the cafe and in the Emergency Department waiting area.

Dietary Services

Patients at Centennial receive 3 balanced meals per day.  Your physician will order your diet, but you will have the ability to select your meals within your diet.  A Registered, Licensed Dietiian is also available to assist you with questions- ask your nurse for more information.  Outpatient consultations are also available. 

Electrical Devices

        For safety reasons, we ask that you leave all personal electrical appliances including cellular phones and pagers at home.

Smoking Policy

        The hazards of fire, as well as the hazards to your health from smoking, are major concerns of the hospital.  For your safety and that of other patients, visitors and staff, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hospital.  Smoking is never allowed in patient rooms and the hospital reserves the right to confiscate smoking materials from patients who fail to comply with this rule.  Designated smoking areas are provided outside the hospital near the Emergency Department, the Spice Cafe, and the ICU waiting room.

Personal Belongings and Valuables

        We strongly urge you to leave valuable clothing, jewelry, large sums of cash, credit cards, electronic devices and luggage at home, or to send such items home the day you are admitted.  Please limit the cash you bring to the hospital.  If you cannot leave valuables at home, please arrange with Admission Registration to put them into the hospital safe.  The hospital will provide all your personal necessities at no additional cost to you.

        The hospital cannot assume responsibility for any belongings or cash in your room.  Your books, magazines, eyeglasses or dentures may be stored in the bedside table.  The nurse can provide you with a denture cup, if necessary.  Please take care to protect your dentures from accidental loss or damage.  Do not place your dentures under your pillow; do not keep them in the bathroom; do not wrap them in a tissue; do not place them on your meal tray.

Medications and Herbal Remedies

        It is very important that you tell your physician about every medication AND/OR herbal remedies you are taking because even common medications cause complications when taken in combination with other medications or treatments.  Also, tell your physician and your nurse of any allergies you have to medications or foods.  Please do not bring any medications with you to the hospital.  Any medications meeded during your hospital stay will be prescribed by your physician and provided by the hospital pharmacy.  If you bring your medications to the hospital, they will be held for you until you are discharged.
