Breastfeeding
Location: Basement education classroom
This is a one-time class for 2 ½ hours and is designed for mom and her support person. This class should be taken in the 34th to 36th week of pregnancy (4 to 6 weeks before the due date).
Course topics include:
- Getting started.
- Techniques and positions to feed in.
- Feeding schedules.
- Nutrition for mom.
- Common challenges encountered with breastfeeding.
- Support person's role in breastfeeding.
- Breast pumps and supplies demonstration.
- Working and nursing.
- Storing breast milk.

Infant CPR/Babycare
Location: Basement education classroom
This course will teach parents and others who interact with infants about injury prevention tips. Learn how to baby-proof your home, administer infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and discuss ways to help prevent infant choking. Please plan on attending class 8-12 weeks prior to your due date.

Maternity Tour
Location: 2nd Floor Lobby area by elevators
Our free one-hour tour is offered from 7:00 - 8:00 P.M. and is designed for clients who are not attending the Preparation for Childbirth class. The tour includes the Labor and delivery unit, postpartum unit, and the nursery. Our tour is designed for adults only due to the nature of the questions that may be asked. We want our clients to feel free to ask certain questions, without being concerned about children being present. Childcare is not available, or offered by Centennial during this tour, so we ask that you make the proper arrangements for this important event.

New Sibling Class
Location: Basement education classroom
This is a 1 ½ hour class designed for children between the ages of 3-10 years. We meet from 10:00 - 11:30 A.M. on a Saturday morning. A parent will need to make arrangements to stay with the child during the class. Siblings will learn how to help with the new baby. Additional topics will include; how the baby lives inside mommy, what to expect when mommy goes to the hospital, and when the new baby comes home. There will be a story, a tour of maternity services, and a coloring book to take home. In class the child will decorate their own Big brother or Big sister shirt to wear on the big day! Plan for child to attend this class during the 34-36th week of pregnancy (4-6 weeks before due date).

Prepared Childbirth Classes
Location: Basement education classroom
This class will cover the role of the birthing coach, breathing and relaxation techniques, birthing and medication options, cesarean birth. A hospital tour is included. We suggest you take this class 8-10 weeks before your due date.
