Close by and never closed

Time is critical in any emergency, which means our convenient location can be a true lifesaver in itself. From bumps and bruises to seizures and strokes, you can turn to the Emergency Department at Centennial 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

Our Emergency Department is operated by board-certified physicians with a fully-automated management system to help maximize time with eachpatient. This combination of advanced electronic patient management and old-fashioned human compassion has made our patient turnaround time twice as fast as the national average.

Centennial has been fully accredited by the Society of Chest Pain Centers for meeting or exceeding a broad range of stringent criteria. Our commitment to these high standards and quality of care helps ensure that patients are neither sent home too early nor needlessly admitted during a coronary event.

Super-rapid response

A wireless, paperless emergency department management system (EMDS) takes the place of time-consuming paperwork, which optimizes patient service and quality of care. The moment a patient arrives, wireless handheld electronic tablets alert the medical staff that a new patient is awaiting evaluation. A physician promptly begins evaluating the patient and orders all necessary tests electronically. The physician's requests are immediately transmitted to the proper personnel and the lab. As the patient is ushered through the department, EMDS tracks every detail without wasteful paperwork or red tape.

More Quality Time

The EMDS frees up the medical staff to spend more time with each patient, which leads to a higher level of patient care and greater patient satisfaction. In fact, recent patient satisfaction surveys affirm that they appreciate having the extra time and attention of their emergency physician.

Advanced Human Technology

The latest technology certainly makes the Emergency Department more efficient, but nothing can replace the experience and compassion of our incomparable staff. We make a point to see that patients are treated as quickly as possible with an emphasis on critical care patients. It's also a priority for us to keep patients and family members informed during these moments of crisis.
