The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Centennial Medical Center utilizes digital imaging technology for a wide range of services. All digital images are stored and viewed on the latest Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) that allows for safe, accurate and timely radiologic services. Our number one priority is providing a safe, timely, effective, high-quality, compassionate health care experience to every patient, every time.

Experienced Staff, Accurate Results

This department is staffed by registered and/or certified technologists in every area. We also employ board-certified sub-specialty radiologists who use state-of-the-art voice recognition technology to produce high-quality reports. Most reports are provided to the ordering physician on the same day of the imaging exam.

Outpatient Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Services

Diagnostic Radiology
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Digital Mammography and Bone Densitometry
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturdays of the month

Computed Tomography (CT) 16- and 64-slice
Monday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Nuclear Medicine
Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ultrasound* (General, OB/GYN and Vascular)
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Interventional Radiology
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Positron Emission Technology (PET) Imaging
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every Monday

Women’s Imaging Services is a designated Breast Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology that offers an all-inclusive breast program with digital screening and digital diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and computer-aided diagnosis technology.

Centennial Medical Center is a MammoPAd Provider

We use the MammoPad®, a soft foam cushion that provides a softer, more comfortable mammogram for improved patient comfort. It does not compromise the high level of image quality necessary for a routine mammogram or require higher radiation doses during the mammogram. The cushion’s grip-like surface can help hold breast tissue in place to ensure optimal breast positioning resulting in a better image.

Self-referrals for screening mammography services are accepted for women ages 40+. All other services require a referral (order) from a physician.
