Labor and Delivery

Moms-to-be can relax in our comfortable, spacious birthing rooms where advanced equipment is on-hand to help make your stay convenient and worry free. We also provide various forms of pre-delivery care and we have an anesthesiologist on duty 24/7. Plus with nine birthing rooms, two cesarean section rooms and centralized monitoring, we're here to take the labor out of your delivery. Finally, you and your significant other will celebrate in style with a white tablecloth celebration dinner prior to your discharge.

Newborn Care

You and your precious newborn will recieve highly-skilled, compassionate nursery care immediately after delivery, and it remains available around the clock. We're prepared for the worst so you can expect the best, which is why our Bilirubin Clinic is readily available to treat jaundiced newborns. We've also been recognized by the State of Texas as one of the best in the state for screening newborn babies for hearing loss. Roughly one in 1,000 babies is born with hearing loss and it's important to detect and treat this condition early. Mom/baby rooming, individualized bedside instruction, care packages and much more are provided to help make a smooth transition into parenthood.

ICU Nursery

Ours is the only Level III local Intensive Care Nursery in the Frisco area, which means any complications will receive the most qualified care available. This may include premature infants, infants requiring pulmonary support/management, maternal/fetal complications and infants requiring evaluation for alteration in body systems functions. Special care is managed and performed by a combination of experienced Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists.

Certified Lactation Specialists

New mothers who choose to naturally nurture their newborns will have everything they need to satisfy their baby's first thirst. Our certified lactation specialists and consultants, along with the staff nurses, provide information for establishing and maintaining milk supply, pumping and storage of milk, breastfeeding assistance and support.

Centennial has earned the Texas Ten Step designation from the Department of State Health Services and the Texas Hospital Association, which certifies us to support breastfeeding mothers before, during and after their delivery.

In addition, Mothers' Express is our store for breastfeeding mothers, where pumps are available to rent or to purchase.
