Centennial's youth volunteer program offers young people an opportunity to learn about the healthcare industry and the importance of volunteerism and dedication to an organization that is valuable in their future career endeavors. With this in mind, we prefer that all applications and follow up processes come directly from the student volunteer so that they learn the importance of applying to similar programs in the future.

Students who volunteer during the summer will be placed in one of the following departments* with the goal being to gain an understanding of how that department is vital to hospital operations and patient care.

Accounting • Case Management • Dietary • Education • Employee Health • Human Resources • Marketing • Materials Management • Medical Staff Services • Plant Operations • Patient Access • Emergency Department • Medical/Telemetry Unit • Pediatrics/Surgical Unit • Physical Therapy • Radiology • Women’s & Children’s Services

*Please note selection is based on availability.

Applications deadline for Summer 2013 volunteers is May 31, 2013. 

Application Packet must include the following:
Completed Application (Must be signed by youth applicant and guardian)
Completed and signed background authorization form (18-year old+ applicants only)
Most recent report card
Two letters of reference -- one from a teacher, coach or pastor; and one from a non-relative
