Information about Spine Surgery

Preparing for spinal surgery begins with a pre-operative education class about your upcoming surgery and what to expect before, during and after the procedure.  The Pre-Operative Spine Education class is offered free of charge to patients undergoing spine surgery at Centennial Medical Center.  This class is presented by a multidisciplinary team of professionals, and is designed for our patients, family members and/or caregivers. Class topics includes:

•   How to prepare for your surgery
•   What to expect the during your hospitalization
•   What to expect after hospitalization
•   Information about pain management
•   Equipment and devices
